In a food processor, add onion, garlic, ginger (if not using paste) and process or grate to coarse texture mix. In a bowl, mix flour and seasonings; toss with chicken. In same skillet, heat remaining butter over medium-high heat.

- Take a deep kadhayi, heat oil.
- Add whole Spices in heated oil…once it crackle (baghar) add chopped onions to it.
- Saute it until onions get golden brown colour, then add ginger garlic paste..mix it…stir fry for 2 minutes to get out from raw smell.
- Now add all the spices mixture, tomatoes, chopped green chillies. Mix it well
- Add 1/2 cup water…mix it, cover and cook for 5 minutes at low to med flame till oil separates from the masalas.
- Now, open the lid…add chicken pieces to it….mix it well.
- Cook the curry with continuously stirring for 10 minutes till it becomes dry.
- Now, Add 2 cups water…bring it to boil, cover it and cook for 10_12 minutes at medium flame.
- Sprinkle 1 tsp garam masala powder, mix it well. Turn off the flame
- Dehati chicken curry is ready to serve.
