  12. Take 4 tablespoon yogurt
  13. Take 1/2 teaspoon garam Masala

  16. Make ready 1 cup flour
  17. Make ready to taste Salt
  18. Take Water for kneading

The addition of cream subdues the spices and salt a little. Always check the flavours after adding cream. Chicken handi is a typical restaurant dish. This yummy and delicious recipe of Handi chicken which is awesome and an excellent chicken dish for a sunday afternoon lunch.

Instructions to make Chicken handi:
  1. 1.In a pan heat clarified butter

2.To it add chopped onions - and saute till they turn brown

3.Now add ginger garlic paste - saute till raw smell disappears

4.Add chopped tomatoes - 2 medium sized and saute till smooth, add salt

  1. Now add Crushed coriander seeds Crushed cumin seeds Saute them.Add chopped green chilies mix Kashmiri red chilli Turmeric powder Saute well
  2. Now add Chicken Mix well and cook for 5 to 8 minutes.Now add yogurt - and mix well
  3. Lower the flame till chicken turns tender..in the last add, garam masala powder - Garnish with coriander leaves
  4. Serve hot with roti or parota
  5. For roti:flour and salt mix well..add water and make a dough..rest for 10 min..now dough ready for making roti..make a small ball..press it..roll it like a roti..make on hot tawa….

Serve with lachha parantha or tandoori and lachha pyaz. The chicken handi recipe just goes to show, you've got to try Hasan's when in Leeds! This is one nice chicken curry!
