Instructions to make Shahi chicken:
- Wash & rinse the chicken.
- Take a karahi,pour 2 tbsp of oil in it
- When it heats up add onions, tomatoes & ginger garlic paste.
- Cook for 5 minutes on low flame & let it be cool down
- In a mixie grind the fried onions, tomatoes & ginger garlic paste.
- Take the same karahi,put 1 tbsp of butter in it with bay leaf & cardamom,cook till it becomes brown in colourthen,&pour the grinded masala in it with all the ingredients except kasuri methi &coriander leaves.
- Cook till all the water is absorbed & it becomes a smooth paste.
- Now add washed chicken in it with 1 cup of water,& cook on the low flame.
- Cook till the whole chicken becomes soft to chew,add water according to need
- Take out in a bowl.
- Garnish with fresh cream,kasuri methi & coriander leaves.
- Serve hot with lassa parantha or naan & salad
