The ingredients needed to make Kadai Chicken:
  1. Prepare 500 gms chicken
  2. Prepare 4 pcs onions
  3. Take 3 pcs Tomatoes
  4. Make ready As needed Garlic paste
  5. Take 1 bowl curd for marination
  6. Prepare As needed Ginger paste
  7. Take 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  8. Prepare as per taste Chilli powder
  9. Prepare As needed Garam masala
  10. Prepare As needed Black pepper
  11. Make ready 1 Bay leaf
Steps to make Kadai Chicken:
  1. First wash and marinate chicken with salt, red chilli, haldi, garam masala, black pepper, ginger garlic and chilli paste and curd. Keep it aside for half an hour.
  2. In a kadhai/ griddle add oil and add bay leaf and finely chopped onions and saute till colour changes.Add ginger and garlic paste and saute for few mins.Add haldi/ turmeric powder, red chilli powder, garam masala and black pepper and mix well. Add 3 finely chopped tomatoes and cook till tomatoes turn soft.
  3. Then add the marinated chicken and mix with all the masalas. Add little water and salt as per taste and cover it and cook till tender.Serve hot with roti or naan.
