As always the base for my ice cream is my Master Recipe for Two Ingredient Homemade Ice Cream without an Ice Cream Machine. For those of you who are not familiar it is simply Whipped Cream and Condensed Milk whipped up to yield you a creamy blank canvas which is your Ice Cream Base. For this ice-cream base and for all my ice-cream I use Vanilla Bean Paste, I love it more than Vanilla extract, just google it where to buy it in your country.

- Take 16 oz heavy whip cream

Sweetened condensed milk acts as the ice cream base, and keeps the mixture smooth and creamy when you fold it into whipped cream and freeze it. It also produces a very smooth, creamy ice cream which, depending on how much fat is in the ice cream base, rivals any other homemade ice cream for texture. On our ice cream base now, I know I've made this many times before, but for those of you who haven't seen it, I'm gonna make it really quick so using a Whatever flavor you want and then mix it into your ice cream base.
Instructions to make No machine ice cream BASE:
- Put your ingredients in the fridge one day before making your ice cream
- Whip your heavy cream woth a mixer until you can move the bowl and the cream does not move
- Add your condensed milk and vanilla extract and whip again with your mixer.
- Now you are ready to add any flavor you love. I used crushed peanut butter cookies and some of the cookie dough to recreate my favorite ice cream flavor
- Finally store it into container(s) i recycled some ice cream containers and freeze it from 6 hrs minimum although i prefer over night for best results
It's pretty much like instant ice cream. Take the ice cream maker, for instance. Unless you want to sit whisking a bowl of custard over a salt and ice bath for a good half hour, there's no other way to make ice cream at home. Now normally, you'd chill this base and throw it into an ice cream machine to churn as it freezes. The ice cream base is put in the canister in the middle, and surrounded by rocksalt and water to ensure the freezing.
