In a large saucepan, combine the brown sugar, flour, water, white vinegar and soy sauce. Add meatballs and bring to a boil. Combine bread crumbs, milk, soy sauce, garlic salt, and onion powder. Add ground beef, sausage, and water chestnuts.

- Put the ground meat in a bowl. Add the eggs and onions. Mix using your hands.

Note: Drain on paper towels before serving, if necessary. Soy sauce: I use reduced-sodium soy sauce in most of my recipes. I find that traditional soy sauce is too salty. Obviously, you can also use a gluten-free alternative. Spices: Garlic powder and cayenne pepper.
