  1. Take 1/2 cup Whole Wheat Flour
  2. Prepare 1/2 cup powdered or grated jaggery
  3. Get 150 grams compound chocolate
  4. Take 3 tbsp cocoa powder
  5. Get 1 tbsp instant coffee powder
  6. Prepare 1/2 tsp Chocolate/Vanilla Essence
  7. Take 1 Egg (Optional)
  8. Take 1/2 cup milk
  9. Take 1 pinch baking soda
  10. Prepare 1/2 tsp baking powder
  11. Make ready 2 tbsp melted butter/oil

I'd call this a chocolate sponge cake, not a brownie. Works well with mashed up apples in place of bananas, as long as you add more sweetness. Brownies are probably one of my favourite desserts. Dense, rich, sweet and most importantly full of chocolatey goodness!

Instructions to make Healthy choco ganache brownie:
  1. Strain all the dry ingredients in a strainer and mix them all. Now slowly add wet ingredients like egg, vanilla essence, oil and milk and mix them and whisk them together for about 10 mins to get a lump free, smooth batter.
  2. Now grease a cake tin with oil. I have greased a tiffin with oil and applied butter paper over it but that's optional. Now pour half of the mixture then add chocolate compound pieces as shown in the image and then pour the remaining batter and again add the remaining chocolate pieces.
  3. Now heat a kadai. Add the base with one and half cup of salt. Place a stand & cover it with a lid. Put the flame on high flame for 3 mins snd then in medium flame for 5 mins. Now put the cake tin or tiffin over the stand and then again cover it. Set the flame low and bake it for a about half an hour. Check if with a toothpick if required.
  4. Now boil again add some chocolate pieces, nearly 50 grams and melt it in a double boiler method as shown in image 2.
  5. Boil it to get the liquid consistency. Let it set for a while so that it becomes a bit thick consistency like chocolate ganache. Now pour it over the cake and decorate it as required. And your healthy choco brownie is ready

Once the brownies have cooled down completely. Spoon some of the ganache on top. Place the brownies in the fridge to allow the ganache to set. Let the brownies cool completely before removing them from the pan. Prepare the chocolate ganache frosting by melting the chocolate chips in the microwave and then whisking in the Spread the frosting on the brownies and enjoy.
