  2. Make ready 3 tomatoes
  3. Take as required Vegetable oil

Steps to make Chicken Karahi:
  1. Cut the onions and tomatoes.
  2. Make cuts in the chicken to cook it faster (of course after washing it).
  3. Put a little bit of oil in the pan (heat medium high).
  4. Put the onion until it turns brown.
  5. Put some garlic on it and stir it till it turns light brown.
  6. Put little bit of zeera and cardamom with tomato and stir them for 30 seconds.
  7. Put the chicken and close the lid for 25 minutes.
  8. Once in a while, open the lid and stir them.
  9. Once the tomato is dissolved, reduce the temperature to medium, then add some turmeric and Karahi gosht masala, then mix them all.
  10. Add 4 cups of water and then increase the temperature back to high.
  11. If you have Maggi chicken cube, put 2 of them.
  12. Close the lid and leave it for like 15 to 20 minutes. Then check it the meat is still hard while having evaporated some water. If it is so, add one more cup of water and let it heat for another 15-20 minutes.
  13. Check if the meat is good. If not, let it heat for a bit more. Then check it again.
  14. Towards the end, if you felt like, add some green onions and basil leaves.
