Steps to make Fried Rice:
  1. Soak basmati rice for 20 min and cook rice with 1/2 teaspoon salt
  2. Take a big pot and heat up
  3. Add 2 table spoon of oil in a pot, once the oil is hot then add chopped onion sauté for 3-4 minutes on medium flame
  4. Add ginger garlic paste to it then add carrot, capsicum, green beans and green peas then sauté for 4-5 minutes
  5. Then add soy sauce and pepper powder to it sauté for 2-3 minutes and mix it well add salt as per your taste and turn off the heat, let it cool down a bit then add cooked rice to it
  6. Mix it really well and finally garnish with fresh coriander and spring onion and serve hot with tomato ketchup

Next, I add lots of veggies to this rice. For flavor I add soy sauce and oyster sauce. I like to add Sriracha for a little kick. This recipe is a great way to work in any leftovers. Using the spatula, push the rice to the side of the wok and make a "well" in the middle of the fried rice.
