My first attempt ever at fried rice and it was really good. Add egg, and cook until scrambled, stirring occasionally. Remove egg, and transfer to a separate plate.

To get started with this recipe, we must first prepare a few ingredients. You can cook fried rice using 9 ingredients and 2 steps. Here is how you cook that.
The ingredients needed to make Fried Rice:
- Get 3 cups cook rice
- Take 1 cup peas and carrots
- Prepare 1 tbsp soy sauce
- Take 1 tbsp Teriyaki marinade & sauce
- Prepare 1 tsp garlic powder
- Make ready 1 cup cooked diced chicken (I used my lemon chicken)
- Take to taste salt & pepper
- Get 3 eggs lightly beaten
- Get 1/4 stick butter
Remove from skillet and set aside. Fried rice is best when it is made with cold rice. You can even cook the rice the night before. The longer the rice sits the better it tastes!
Instructions to make Fried Rice:
- Cook your favorite rice. (2 cups of uncooked made 3 cups of cooked). Set aside.
- In a large skillet melt butter on medium high, then pour in eggs. Scramble then and when they are done, add cooked rice, peas & carrots, chicken, soy sauce & Teriyaki marinade & sauce. Stir and lower heat to medium and stir till all ingredients are mix well together. Enjoy!
Next, I add lots of veggies to this rice. For flavor I add soy sauce and oyster sauce. I like to add Sriracha for a little kick. This recipe is a great way to work in any leftovers. Turn leftover fried rice into crunchy, golden brown bites for dipping.
