The ingredients needed to make Chocolate Cake:
  1. Make ready 1 1/2 cup Flour
  2. Prepare 1 cup Powdered sugar
  3. Make ready 1/2 cup cooking oil

  5. Make ready 1 cup milk
  6. Prepare 2 table spoon cream
  7. Make ready 3 eggs
  8. Prepare 1 table spoon Yeast
  9. Prepare 1/2 table spoon baking soda
  10. Take 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  11. Prepare 2 tablespoon coco powder

Combine flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt; add to creamed mixture alternately with milk, beating until smooth after each addition. This is a deep, dark chocolate cake, but it was almost TOO moist,TOO dense. Don't know what really accounts for the difference since the recipes are so similar, and maybe it's just a matter of personal preference, but while this was a very good cake, I'll stick with the other. Line with parchment paper, then butter and flour the pans.

Instructions to make Chocolate Cake:
  1. Mix eggs and powdered sugar together in a big bowl. Mix them together for 2 to 3 minute. (I mix them with hand beater or whisk). Use same size of cups and spoons.
  2. Mix flour, yeast and baking soda together in a different bowl. After mixing them all pour this mixture in the big bowl containing mixture of eggs & powdered sugar. Now mix them all together well.
  3. While mixing the batter add oil, butter, coco powder in the bowl.
  4. After mixing them all together, leave that batter for 15 to 20 minutes at room temperature.
  5. On the other hand, take the bowl in which you will pour the cake batter to bake. Grease that bowl with oil. Cut the butter paper according to the size of the baking bowl covering the sides as well.
  6. After 15 to 20 minute rest, pour that cake batter into the greased bowl. Do check the cake with a sharp knife or long wood stick if it is ready or not. Baking time 1.5 to 2 hours. Low flame.
  7. Setting up the cooker. Preheat the cooker before putting the bowl inside it. Put something inside the cooker e.g stand or any small brick on which you will put the bowl. Main purpose is to put it on a little height. Do REMOVE the RUBBER of the cooker while baking, it is NOT needed. Bake your cake at a very low heat.
  8. Wet your sponge with this syrup: 1 table spoon of nutella, 1 tablespoon coco powder, 1 table spoon honey, 2 tablespoon milk, 1 tablespoon jam any of your choice (I have used peach jam in this cake). Mix these all in a cup of small bowl and pour it on the sponge using a normal size spoon. I have cut the cake from the center and pour the half syrup in the center and other half on the top of the cake. DONOT heat up anything in this step only mix and pour.
  9. Garnishing: I used a normal size bar of dairymilk (you can use any chocolate). Mix the chocolate with milk, make a thick mixture. Cover the cake with this chocolate mixture. You can add up sprinkles or chocolate chips for garnishing.
  10. I know low heat baking takes sometimes but it ends upon a delicious cake. It is my mom's recipe i am sharing with you all. Including different pictures i have baked it using this recipe.
