The ingredients needed to make Pork chilli, for 2:
  1. Prepare 500 grams pork, minced
  2. Take 1 onion
  3. Make ready 1 pinch bell pepper

  7. Prepare 1 tsp sage, dried
  8. Take 2 heads lettuce, such as little gem

Being an experienced mom has helped a Thanks to dear Michelle Noronha whose recipe I mildly tweaked, here's my version of the Pork Chilli which can be aptly called as an Indo-Chinese dish. Use finger-length red chillis (seeds removed) for the colour, and red chilli padi (seeds on) for the heat. Spicy stir-fry: Chilli pork sprinkled with extra Sichuan pepper. This stir-fry packs a punch with three types of chilli, and would work just as well with chicken or minced prawns.

Instructions to make Pork chilli, for 2:
  1. Fry the pork mince in a medium pan over a medium heat.
  2. While the mince is cooking, chop the onion, pepper, garlic and chili.
  3. When the mince is browned, add the chopped onion, garlic, pepper and chili to the mince.
  4. Trim and finely slice the spring onions, and chop the tomatoes.
  5. When the onion and pepper are softened, add the chopped tomatoes to the pan, along with 1 tsp dried sage and some black pepper.
  6. Cook for 10 mins or so, on a medium to low heat, adding a splash of water if necessary to prevent it burning.
  7. Serve the chili with some lettuce and the chopped spring onions in wholemeal tortilla wraps.

For the chili sauce, I used Guilin Chili Sauce by Lee Kum Lee, which you can buy at an Asian grocery. It's as authentic as the sauces that I used while living in China. Place a sieve over the bowl and set aside. I got Pulled pork mac & cheese, hubs got brisket and bro in law got steaks. Marinate pork with the rest of the ingredients for several hours or overnight in the fridge.
