  1. Prepare 1 head Cabbage
  2. Make ready 1 large Yellow onion
  3. Prepare 2 Cucumbers

  6. Make ready 2 1/2 cup White sugar
Instructions to make Chow Chow:
  1. Chop up all vegetables (doesn't have to be very finely chopped but just a tad bit bigger)
  2. Put veggies in large pot and add vinegar and sugar
  3. Turn on heat and bring to boil, cook on medium for 20 minutes (start time when it starts to boil)
  4. Jars should be in a water bath that is hot along with lids, take jars out each at a time and fill to first ring
  5. Wipe off rim of jar and place hot lid and ring on top and screw tight and place on dry towel on counter
  6. Wait until all lids have sealed and made a pop sound then store, if jar did not seal it has to be refrigerated
  7. Makes around 10 pint sized jars
