  1. First remove both ends of gavar. Wash them, strain and spread over a cotton cloth for 1 hour.
  2. Roast fenugreek seeds and Jeera on low flame for 2-3 mins. When it cools grind coarsely.
  3. Slit green chillies and keep aside.
  4. In a kadhai add oil, hing powder, cloves, black peppercorns and Haldi powder. Let it cool.
  5. In a bowl add gavar and green chillies.
  6. Then add coarsely grinded masala, split mustard seeds, salt and sugar.
  7. Then squeeze lemon and add oil Tadka already prepared and mix well.
  8. Mix well and keep for 3-4 hours. Then put in a clean jar and store in refrigerator.
