- Take 1 cup Nyonya curry powder / any meat curry powder mixture ready to use package
- Get 1 cup water 200ml
- Take 1 tbsp salt
- Prepare 2 tbsp light soy sauce
- Make ready 2 inches ginger pounded
- Make ready 4 clove garlic pounded
- Prepare 4 small shallot pounded
- Prepare 800 grams pork rib
- Prepare 4 tbsp oil
Transfer onto serving platter, garnish if desired and serve immediately with warm rice. Pork rib cooked with curry gravy. Braised pork rib in special nyonya soy bean paste gravy. Rice noodles in spicy coconut gravy served with prawn, fish cake, bean sprout and bean curd.
Instructions to make Nyonya Curry Pork Rib:
- Pound all the ginger and garlic and shallot then mix with the Pork Rib and stir in the curry powder, season with salt and let it marinate for half hour
- Pour in the water and mix well
- Heat The oil in pan then add in all the Curry Pork Rib mixture and stir fry for 2 minutes,
- Pour all ingredients into a pressure cooker and add the light soy sauce and mix well then cooked on high for 25 minutes
- Best enjoy with white rice but if there's any bread or tortilla will taste as good
Marinate pork with (A) and set aside. Heat the cooking oil and fry (B) and (C) until fragrant and oil rises. Occasionally, add a bit of the coconut milk to prevent the spices from sticking to the pot when frying.
