  2. Add Karo syrup, vanilla extract, salt, cinnamon & butter. continue to boil under low heat stirring constantly.
  3. Continue the low boil while stirring occasionally for about 20 minutes. You should start to see it become thicker & more "syrupy" like. Turn off heat. Let sit for 5-10 minutes before serving to thicken. Can put in a jar or old syrup bottle. (to cool off faster, fill pan with cool water & place bottle or jar in water for 5 mins)
