Fried Rice is a combination of long grained rice, mixture of warm peas, carrots and onions with scrambled eggs mixed all together! You will not be getting take out any longer! Instructions to make Fried rice:
- Cut meat into small pieces, wash and season with garlic powder, cayenne pepper, Soy sauce, Oyster sauce, Maggie cube or sauce (optional) set aside.
- Chop all the vegetables and set aside.
- In a wok or any deep pan, add oil and fry the beef till all the water has completely dried from the meat. Remove meat from the pan and set a side. Drizzle more oil to the pan and fry the onions till translucent. Add (fried rice paste) prawns and the Chinese season salt (optional), fry for 2 minutes on a low heat.
- Add all the vegetables and cook for 1 minutes, add the rice and keep stirring making sure the rice is well in cooperated with the sauce.
- Season to taste with salt, black pepper and a little bit of light soy sauce (at your own discretion)
- All done, enjoy with a side salad.
Remove from skillet and set aside. Set out additional soy sauce on the table, if desired. Fried rice is best when it is made with cold rice. You can even cook the rice the night before. The longer the rice sits the better it tastes!
