Combine all the topping ingredients except the butter in a medium bowl. Using a pastry blender, cut in the butter until the mixture. Pineapple pie is sold in my hometown of Tampico. It always brings back sweet memories.

5. Using a sharp knife, cut 3-4 slits into tops of each apple and pineapple pie. Brush with egg wash and sprinkle with brown sugar. Bake on medium heat 150’ for 25 min or until the pastry cooked through.
