Kadai chicken is another popular recipe from Northern India. Whole spices ground to a fine paste and cooked with onions, tomatoes and chicken chunks of the bone - the final dish is wholesome and delicious. Red chillies and tomatoes give this dish a beautiful colour, plenty of flavour and consistency. KADAI CHICKEN MASALA: Usually spices such as coriander seeds powder, kashmiri red chillies, black pepper corns, cumin seeds, crushed kasoori methi are dry roasted in a pan or kadai and blended into a fine powde which is called as kadai masala.

Steps to make Kadai Chicken:
  1. Heat oil in a pan add fenugreek seeds and red chilli whole and ginger garlic paste and satue till fragrent.
  2. Add onion & tomato and saute. Then add salt,termeric powder,red chilli powder and saute.
  3. Add chicken and mix. Cover and cook it 10 min.
  4. Then add cumin powder, Coriander powder,yogurt and stir. Again cover and cook 5-6 min.
  5. Then add garam masala and little bit of water and stir. Cover it and cook 5 min.
  6. Then add fresh cream and green chilli and switch off the flame.
  7. Garnished with Coriander leaves and ready to serve.

This kadai masala along wih garam masala is added into mutton kadai, kadai paneer, chicken kadai etc… Kadai Chicken A super tasty North Indian Style Chicken curry with a flavor-packed and rich masala.
