- Place a large frying pan over a medium heat & brown the mince in batches. Set aside.Add about 2 tbsp oil to the pan & cook the mushrooms for about 2 minutes until starting to colour. Add the spring onions, chilli & garlic. Cook for another 2 minutes & add the rice. Stir well to coat the rice & cook for 4 minutes.
- Add the mince back to the pan & stir everything together until combined. Add the ginger & soy sauce, stir again & simmer for 5 minutes stirring occasionally. Serve immediately.
This Ginger Beef Stir Fry was great and I highly recommend it. Fans of quick and easy will love this asian-inspired stir-fry dish. Beef, bell pepper and rice get a dip in a spicy sauce and a sprinkle of toasted sesame seeds. I used reduced sodium soy sauce and cut back on the crushed red pepper but this was a great sauce for any stir-fry. next time I will marinate some boneless skinless chicken thighs to add to the vegetable stir-fry. Great flavor—will use this as my base stir-fry sauce from now on.
