The mixture of chicken that's been browned in the skillet before cooking down with the liquids until it is meltingly soft. - Close the cooker lid and leave the chicken to cook in high flame. After 1st whistle, reduce the flame and keep again for 10 minutes. Switch off and wait till all the pressure escapes.
- Open the lid and if you find much water, just switch on flame and cook until it is like semi gravy
- Now add your rice to it. Add melted ghee on top. If you wish, add mint leaves, coriander leaves, fried onions, fried cashew, fried yellow raisins on top. Simply close the lid and keep aside for 10 minutes
- You can open the lid and mix them. Biriyani is ready.
