  1. Take 1/4 Cup millet
  2. Get 2 tbsp oil
  3. Prepare 3 cloves
  4. Take 1 ' Cinnamon stick
  5. Get 1 star annise
  6. Prepare 1 string mace
  7. Prepare 1 green cardamom
  8. Take 1 Chopped green chilli
  9. Prepare 1 tsp crushed Ginger garlic

  11. Make ready 1 bay leaf
  12. Prepare 1/2 Cup Chopped vegies
  13. Make ready Carrot,potato,capsicum,mint
  14. Get 1 onion chopped
  15. Get 1 tomato chopped

Steps to make Kaang Biryani:
  1. Wash the millet, and Soak for 4-5 hrs in hot water.After it is Soaked well, drain water and add 1/2 Cup water and little salt.Pressure cook for 2 whistles,then simmer for 3-4 Min on LOW flame.In a non stick kadhai,Heat oil.Add cloves,bay leaf,star annise,mase,cardamon,Cinnamon,Chopped green chilli,red chilli.Saute for a min.
  2. Add crushed Ginger garlic and Chopped Onion and little salt.Saute till Onion becomes soft.Add tomato.Saute till tomato becomes mushy.
  3. Now add other Chopped vegetables and salt to taste.Add 1 Cup water.Mix well.Cover and let it cook on low to Medium flame for 5-7 min till all vegies cook.when 3/4 amount of water gets evaporated, add cooked millet.Mix well.
  4. Cover and let it simmer for 2-3 min on LOW flame.Mean while Whisk curd add salt.Temper with jeera,curry leaves and hing.Add Chopped coriander leaves.Mix it and Serve in a bowl.Serve hot millet biryani in a serving Plate.Garnish with Onion,mint leaves.
