Chicken Chettinad or Chettinad chicken is a classic Indian recipe, from the cuisine of Chettinad. It consists of chicken marinated in yogurt, turmeric and a paste of red chillies, kalpasi, coconut, poppy seeds, coriander seeds, cumin seeds, fennel seeds, black pepper, ground nuts, onions, garlic and gingelly oil. It is served hot and garnished with coriander leaves, accompanied with boiled rice. A very popular dish from the Chettinad region, this Chettinad Chicken has a finger licking delicious thick gravy.

- Take a bowl add chicken,turmeric,salt and lemon and keep aside for as long u can give rest to marination
- Now take all whole masala dry roast it on low flame and grind it with coconut and grind fine paste
- Add some oil in kadai now add mustard,onion and golden fry it and add green chilies
- Now add masala we made earlier mix it well and add tomatoes now cook till oil separates
- Now add chicken in masala and add some Corry leaves stir on heigh flame atleast about ten mins
- Then u can add water if u like more curry if u like dry u can just add half cup of water and cook it on low flame about 20-25 mins
- After 25 min u check if it's done u can srve it with rice or naan aur roti
