- Add 2 and a half cup water for 1 and a half cup rice. I used the rice measurement cup for water. Now is the time to add salt. Taste the water and salt should be little high. It will become even once the rice is cooked.
- Add the mint and coriander leaves to it and close the lid. Keep the stove in. Medium flame and leave the cooker for about 13-14 mins without whistle.
