- Get 4 green chillies whole
- Make ready 2 green chiilies
- Prepare 1/2 cup mint
- Take 1/2 cup green coriander
- Take 1/3 cup fried onion
- Take 3 pinch yellow colour
Instructions to make Chicken Degi biryani:
- Wash and soak 3 cup rice in water for 30 minutes
- Fry 2 large onion in 5 tbsp oil
- Marinate chicken by adding salt,red chilli powder, coriander powder, biryani masala,ginger garlic paste fried onion,tomatoes green cardimon,cinnamon stick,cloves,cumin seed,blk pepper corn,6 dry plums.for 30 minutes
- After 30 minutes add potatoes in same oil in which fried onion.fry for 5 minutes
- Now add marinated chicken cook for 5 minutes.
- Now cover and cook on medium low heat for 10 minutes.
- Boil 8 cup of water add green chillies mint leaves and 1 tsp garam masala.
- Add rice.boil until 90% done.
- Strain water.let it little cooler.
- When chicken with potatoes and masala done.layer the baryani.remove half madala chicken add rice on half chicken masala add remaining chicken then add rice,add green chillies mint leaves,fried onion and yellow food colour by addind in 3 tbsp water.
- Add tawa under the pan and cover by adding a cloth on lid.cook on very low heat for 10 minutes
- After 10 minutes open lid mix carefully.serve hot with zeera raita and salad.
