- Get 2/3 tbs Fish sauce
- Make ready 2/3 tbs Oyster sauce

- Crack and beat the egg into a small bowl then set aside.
- Heat the oil in the frying pan, then add the garlic and cook until the garlic turn slightly golden in colour.
- Add Thai jasmine rice, fish sauce, oyster sauce and stir until all ingredients combined.
- Push the fried rice to the side of the pan. So you will have a space to cook the egg.
- Add a little oil in that space, and in goes the beaten egg. Leave until the egg is slightly cooked. Then stir the rice and egg together.
- Put a pinch of salt, pepper, lemon juice and spring onion and stir. Transfer this lovely fried rice into the serving dish, sprinkle with a little paprika powder (optional) and serve this simple egg-fried rice immediately.
