Hey everyone, it’s Jim, welcome to our recipe site. Today, I’m gonna show you how to prepare a distinctive dish, ramen. It is one of my favorites. This time, I am going to make it a little bit tasty. This is gonna smell and look delicious.

Ramen is one of the most favored of recent trending meals on earth. It’s simple, it is fast, it tastes yummy. It is enjoyed by millions every day. Ramen is something which I have loved my whole life. They’re fine and they look fantastic.

To get started with this particular recipe, we have to first prepare a few ingredients. You can have ramen using 9 ingredients and 6 steps. Here is how you can achieve that.

The ingredients needed to make Ramen:
  1. Take 6 cups broth
  2. Get 2 tbsp soy sauce
  3. Make ready 3 cloves garlic, diced
  4. Get 1 small onion, chopped
  5. Take 1 small piece of ginger (about 3-inch), diced
  6. Prepare 0.5 ounces dehydrated mushrooms (eg. shiitake)
  7. Take olive oil (eg. sesame, grape seed or olive)
  8. Prepare 8 ounces noodles
  9. Take toppings (eg. boiled eggs, spinach, mushrooms, tofu, carrots…)
Steps to make Ramen:
  1. In a large pot, add 2 tbsp of oil, garlic, ginger, and onion. Sauté, stirring occasionally for 5-8 minutes.
  2. Add 1 cup of the vegetable broth and scrape up any bits that stuck to the bottom.

Add remaining 5 cups of the broth, soy sauce, and dehydrated mushrooms, stir.

  1. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, then reduce heat to low and cover. Simmer for at least 30min. The longer it cooks, the more the flavor will deepen and develop. Taste and adjust seasonings as needed.
  2. Prepare any desired toppings (eg. eggs, spinach, mushrooms, carrots, tofu…).
  3. Boil the noodles according to package instructions. Once ready, drain and set aside.
  4. Strain broth and reserve mushrooms for serving.

Place the ramen noodles in serving bowls. Top with strained broth and the toppings.
